Mike, Lisa, Jon, and Justin Harvey are all very close family members who have the determination and commitment to put an idea on paper and fulfill their goals. With that being said, they came up with an idea in 2005 to start their own business. Why a lawn care company? Let me explain. Mike and Lisa Harvey always involved their children in the yard activities on the weekends. Whether that be picking up sticks, planting flowers, mulching beds, cutting the grass or just bouncing ideas off each other on how to make the curb appearance of their home look better. Jon and Justin were always involved in those matter of opinions. After Mike Harvey left his occupation in the trash industry, he decided to talk his family into starting a company in the lawn care industry. Being that this industry is a very competitive market, he knew his wife and kids would be ready to take on the risks and begin this journey. Once they incorporated, the family was off and running, eager to cultivate their own experience, one that would effectively intersect their expertise with their respective interests. They believe that passion, experience, and hard work was the energy that set them apart in this particular market. Since then, the Harvey’s have been in business for 16 excellent years and have created long-term relationships with their employees and customers. The Harvey’s focus on commitment, seek knowledge, use their imagination, and have made this journey fun along the way. They absolutely stand by their mission to be recognized as the unmatched lawn care company.

Mike Harvey and Lisa Harvey

Since Mike was a young boy he believed that hard work was the only way to have a bright future. At 19 he was throwing trash on the back of a trash truck. After years of determination to work hard everyday he became recognized by a higher power, which led him into a supervisor position. With that same determination he was recognized again, which led him into a operations manager position. From there, his consistent hard work and dedication landed him in a district manager position. All of these positions he had in the trash industry instilled over 20 years of management and leadership experience. Those years of experience gave him a head start with his own company. Mike’s knowledge and expertise gives him a competitive edge in this market. On the other hand, Lisa has worked in customer service for over 15 years. Over her years of experience, she has developed patience, attentiveness, great communication skills, and considerable knowledge of the product she is selling. She can help any customer efficiently, in a friendly manner 10 out of 10 times. Lisa’s administration experience is unparalleled, which brings great success to their business. With Mike’s leadership skills and Lisa’s attention to customer expectations, make them an unstoppable force.


Chief Executive Officer/Operation Manager

Jon Harvey

Jon is Mike and Lisa’s first child. Jon grew up watching and admiring his father work hard everyday to support his family. At a young age Jon knew that he wanted to grow up to be like his father. Jon would always take care of his mother and younger brother when Mike was at work. Jon quickly learned from his father that the only way to get somewhere in life, you have to start from the bottom and work your way to the top. Teaching him that nothing in life will just be handed to you, you would have to work hard to achieve your goals. That is exactly what Jon did setting the bar high and dreaming of the upmost success. He graduated from high school going on to college for two years to complete his general education not sure of what the future would hold. He took a chance and started pursuing a career. He got a job at a young age and started climbing the working force ladder in the trash industry like his father, and going on his own as a adult. Jon had the insight of the corporate world and realized it just wasn’t for him. Jon then pursued a career in the lawn and landscaping industry for a couple years before him and his family took a shot on starting their own business in the field. Jon now resides in Ballwin where he grew up with his wife and daughter that he truly admires and loves dearly. Jon is dedicated to his family, his customers, and his work. Jon’s experience with operations, customer service, and staffing gives him a leading role in making managerial decisions with his company.


Chief Financial Officer/Chief Marketing Officer

Justin Harvey

Justin is the youngest in the family. He also admired how his father would always go to work earlier than he needed to and stay later than he needed to. This gave Justin a clear indication that when you go the extra mile, you will ultimately benefit from it. Justin also started working at a young age. When he was 13 years old his mom would drop him off 3 times a week at a hockey rink where he would referee little league games. Justin was only a freshmen in high school when his family decided to start their own company. Everyday when he got home from school, his father would gracefully brief him on how to run a business. When Justin graduated from high school he went to college, where he would work all day for his company, then go to night classes. Justin studied business at Maryville University St. Louis where he graduated with honors. Justin not only has the book smarts for running a business, but he also has experience with hands-on training while working for Harvey’s Services Inc. for the past 16 years. Justin has gained skills in managing his company’s finances, including planning, budgeting, reporting, and financial risk management. His creativity and imagination for marketing has delivered appreciable value to his customers and has made him a strong asset to his company.
